    GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst in the Mechanicsburg, PA area.

    Position Overview

    The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support to end users.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical customer service support via phone and email
    • Support both technical and non-technical end users
    • Troubleshoot and provide first level resolution for software and hardware technical issues
    • Escalate advanced issues to the appropriate team members

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Knowledge of desktop operating systems including Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10
    • Experience working with the MS Office suite & browser-based applications
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Working knowledge of PC Hardware configurations and troubleshooting

    Preferred Experience

    • Associate Degree in IT or higher, or the equivalent in professional IT experience
    • Experience supporting desktops/laptops/printers in a production Support Center environment
    • Experience supporting users in the Manufacturing and/or Healthcare industry
    • Experience with Active Directory is a plus
    • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technology
