    Are you looking for a dynamic and innovative career with a full-service technology company? GDC IT Solutions is currently recruiting for a Front Office Support Technician in the Franklin County area.

    Position Overview

    This position will provide basic support for general computing infrastructures such as networks and servers while providing advanced support for client computing infrastructures. In this role, the individual will align his or her activities directly to enterprise goals, objectives, and center of excellence vision in terms front office strategy. This individual will focus on continuous improvement as well as ITIL alignment in all aspects of the front office center of excellence.

    Responsibilities

    • Remediation of Qualys vulnerabilities and Microsoft patching.
    • Install, support, and maintain desktop business applications.
    • Handle Service Desk requests in a timely fashion.
    • Actively participates in the continuous improvement and ITIL alignment for client computing infrastructure.
    • Monitor Service Desk trouble tickets and provide appropriate responses to maintain at least a 90% customer satisfaction rating.
    • Perform system administration for network in the areas of security, user maintenance, and software configuration files.
    • On-call support may be required during non-business hours for critical emergencies.
    • This individual must have excellent communication skills. This individual will be expected to work with all levels of the organization providing excellent support for Client business systems. This position may require technical communication in areas of front office and client computing infrastructure.
    • This individual may be required to communicate with external resources including suppliers, vendors, and potentially customers.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Some general IT, technical support, and related experience.
    • Working knowledge of business productivity applications and devices such as Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, printers, scanners, etc.
    • Experience with ITIL concepts a plus.
    • Strong analytical, listening, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
    • Strong drive for technical innovation and a passion to deliver business value; results and value driven.
    • Exhibits commitment to organization.
    • Evaluates self continuously. Actively seeks self improvement opportunities. Self- motivated.
    • Must be able to efficiently manage time in order to balance trouble ticket resolution as well as completing IS Requests. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Microsoft PC operating system skills (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, etc.).
    • Microsoft Active Directory experience.
    • PC Imaging and deployment.
    • Application Packaging.
    • SCCM experience.
    • Hardware Support.
    • Customer Service skills.

    Preferred Experience

    • Qualys Vulnerability Scan experience.
    • Sharepoint experience.
    • Microsoft PSEXEC experience.
