    GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an SMB Manager to join our team in the Mechanicsburg, PA area.

    Position Overview

    The SMB Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of technical professionals supporting SMB clients in a consulting environment. This individual will also handle escalated clients issues on an as-needed basis.


    • Supervise a staff of 12 technicians ranging from Service Desk Analyst to Systems Administrators
    • Assist the Director with the interviewing and hiring of staff
    • Assist with the training and development of new team members (individually and in groups) and provide onsite guidance to employees on problem resolution and customer service best practices
    • Responsible for the daily technical deliverables including timely and efficient responses to support requests meeting SLA's
    • Timesheet approval, employee performance reviews, client management, and time off requests
    • Participate in client meetings and interactions for contracts and other necessary communications
    • Report on and resolve/escalate high priority issues
    • Provide performance reviews, and follow improvement-based policies and procedures regarding under-performing employees
    • Quote hardware and software to meet client's needs

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3-5+ years of IT Services experience, with at least 1+ year of team lead or supervisory experience
    • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another relevant field
    • Previous technical experience in Desktop Support or Systems Administration
    • Experience monitoring performance to ensure that SLA's are being met
    • Ability to demonstrate a leadership approach that creates a positive work environment, makes employee work meaningful, seeks growth opportunities, and ultimately drives employee engagement
    • Forward-thinking/"Ahead of the curve" leadership style as it pertains to deliverables and our team's ability to meet them. 
    • Experience supporting and communicating with small/medium-sized clients

    Preferred Experience

    • ITIL/Microsoft certifications highly preferred
