    Position Overview

    A successful Sr. Systems Admin that will be able to provide tools to the team (other SAs) as well as customers (development teams) to ensure scalability, monitor infrastructure, deploy new hardware and software, update firmware and components, and provide support in case of emergencies. The Sr. Systems Admin will be expected to have strong working relationships with other departments to meet project requirements for new project deployments.


    • Maintaining the network and systems in the production and development web environments
    • Troubleshooting all systems and network-related issues in the LAN/WAN/DMZ/VPN environments
    • Suggesting solutions to overcome issues and solve future initiatives
    • Monitoring network usage and resource utilization
    • Documenting network and systems infrastructure and procedures
    • Working with the Site Reliability and Database Teams to ensure optimal integration of all network changes
    • Learning about and implementing new technologies

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Knowledge of networking concepts: LAN/WAN/VPN/DMZ, router/switches, firewalls
    • At least 2 years’ experience in network or systems administration or minimum of an associate’s degree
    • Experience installing and configuring Linux via command line
    • Basic Windows OS and infrastructure experience, including Active Directory and BIND DNS
    • Strong network security knowledge and experience
    • Experience with VMware or other virtualized environment
    • Basic programming and SQL knowledge preferred
