Position Overview

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing support to our customer who is migrating from GroupWise to Microsoft Exchange.  This is a 3-6 month project which will also consist of rolling out an enterprise mobility management software product, Airwatch.  Our customer may also look to migrate remaining users to VDI during this project window.  The Systems Administrator will be responsible in provide support and expertise to these intitiatvies while onsite. 


  • Responsible for Server Administration, installations and upgrades.
  • Design, Deploy and support relevant networking technologies.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to business owners/managers in the analysis, design, engineering, testing, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of server and network components.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of recent IT experience with at least 4 being as an Administrator installing, upgrading, managing, administering Microsoft servers and network equipment.  

  • Installation, upgrading, administrating of Microsoft Windows Servers 2003, 2008, 2012
  • Installation, upgrading, administrating of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013
  • Troubleshooting all aspects of a network infrastructure such as LAN & WAN connectivity issues, backups, desktops/laptops, printers, applications, mobile devices etc.
  • VDI experience
  • GroupWise to Microsoft Exchange experience 
  • Experience with any enterprise mobility management software, preferably Airwatch
