Are you looking for a dynamic and innovative career with a full-service technology company? GDC IT Solutions is currently recruiting for a Cisco Voice Network Engineer in the Wyomissing, PA or Allentown, PA area.


  • Primarily responsible for the design, configuration and administration of Cisco unified communications and telephony systems.
  • Involved in planning, implementing, and supporting new or existing complex collaboration systems including Cisco Communications Manager, Cisco Contact Center Express and Cisco Video systems.
  • Administer Cisco Communication Manager, Unity Connection, IM & Presence, Expressway, Contact Center Express as well as related network hardware and software.
  • Ability to prepare as-built documentation, operating instructions and procedures.
  • Problem source identify and resolve user and system telephony issues.
  • Maintain day to day system operations and fulfill task requests for configurations updates.
  • Works independently or as a team member to plan, develop, implement, and support voice and video systems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the rapidly changing collaboration technology market.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess a college degree in IT or equivalent technical experience. 
  • CCNA certification required.
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and supporting complex Cisco IPT solutions with Cisco Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and Presence Server.
  • Experience with Cisco routing and switching. 
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Voice Gateways.
  • Experience working with VMware ESXi Hypervisor.
  • Experience troubleshooting Cisco Routers and Switches.
  • Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Hardware platform/OS Knowledge around Cisco Unified Communications applications, Cisco IOS, Cisco UCS and VMware.
