Overview

GDC is currently recruiting for a JD Edwards HCM Business Analyst in the Lancaster, PA area.

Position Overview

The JD Edwards HCM Business Analyst will provide ongoing end-user support, and participate in continuous improvement, projects and further expansion of HR and Payroll applications. The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the HCM modules within Enterprise One JD Edwards 9.2 or higher as well as solid functional HR/Payroll expertise from previous roles within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Will assist in the development of testing/training material and all documentation related to the HCM processes maintained within JD Edwards and related systems.
  • Trouble shooting and assisting users with problem resolution, process understanding and end user transactional issues.
  • Strong understanding of functional HR/Payroll business processes to contribute to the design and training of our systems.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on the types of problems that are encountered to feed back in to design and education.
  • Defines, analyzes and proposes business solutions based on the business needs.
  • Designs new system solutions by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications including, but not limited to, functional configuration, report design, integrations.
  • May lead cross-functional integrated teams to complete development projects using a formal Project Management methodology and completes clearly written project documentation.
  • Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; leading project execution from specifications, testing to deployment.
  • Collaborate with technical development teams when addressing aspects of new implementations, functionality enhancements, application updates and performance issues.
  • Must be able to work independently and/or collectively with a team and establish a positive working relationship with end users and with the IT staff.
  • Travel to various sites for end user training and project design planning.
  • Develop custom reports within ReportsNow to provide the business with operational reports and analytics.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in JDE HR/Payroll in application release 9.2 or higher.
  • Design/support experience with JDE integrations to 3rd party business applications.
  • A thorough understanding of JDE Table Structures, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Development Process.
  • Exceptional writing skills for project and training documentation and clear verbal communication for interactions with users and team members.
  • Experience in gathering and writing detailed business/functional requirements and test scenarios based upon business needs.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, business, or other related field preferred.
  • Experience in system setup, configuration and in depth functional knowledge of JD Edwards HCM and Finance modules.
  • Experience in construction industry and complex field labor payroll environments.
  • Experience/Knowledge of system integration process & methodologies.
  • Integration of 3rd party benefits systems.
  • Experience with JDE toolset, ReportsNow, and OnBase ECM.
